BLOCK JAM 2025 FAQs
Who can apply to participate at BLOCK JAM 2025?
Anyone with a visionary mindset who wants to build innovative solutions at the intersection of blockchain and Al technologies (using Theta Blockchain and EdgeCloud) is welcome to apply. Please note that this is an in-person event in Berlin from September 7-13, 2025. You can apply by submitting your idea or by joining an existing project team.
Until when do I need to apply?
The application deadline is June 1, 2025.
Do I need to pay to participate at BLOCK JAM?
Yes, there is a refundable fee of $300 for selected participants. This fee will be refunded if you attend the event and pitch your idea. If you do not attend, the fee will not be refunded. Additionally, you are responsible for covering your travel expenses. Accommodation is provided for participants selected for one of the 20 sponsored spots; otherwise, accommodation costs are your responsibility. Food and drinks will be provided free of charge throughout the week.
Where and when is BLOCK JAM 2025 happening?
Block Jam 2025 will take place in Berlin, Germany, from September 7 to 11, 2025, hosted at Colonia Nova. Directly following the hackathon, the ThetaEuroCon conference will run until September 13, 2025, where the winning project will pitch again to the Theta community.
